Watermelon - 100% Merino Lambswool/ Fingering Weight Base

This lovely color is on our 100% Superwash Merino Lambswool, Fingering Weight base.  It has 4 plies and 14 wpi.  There are approximately 435 yards of gorgeous yarn per skein.

Lambswool is wool taken from the first shearing of sheep, usually when they are around seven months old. Merino is a breed of sheep whose wool has especially soft, long and fine fibers.  These fibers are uniquely crimped to hold warmth while still remaining lightweight. Merino lambswool is considered the finest of these fibers.

Merino Lambswool is an extremely soft and luxurious yarn which should not cause you any itching or any irritation.  Its ultra fine fibers provide a uniquely soft touch. 

Merino Lambswool is light and drapey, fluffy and soft.  It is perfect for everything from shawls and blankets, to socks and mittens. 

We suggest using a US 1-3 Knitting Needle and a Size C/D Crochet Hook. (This is only a suggestion, everyone’s tension varies, please use what is the most comfortable for you!)
