Seaside Romance - 100% Fine Organic Merino Wool - Fingering Weight Base

This lovely color is on our one ply, 100% Fine Organic Merino Wool, Fingering Weight base.  There are approximately 435 yards of gorgeous yarn per skein.  **If you can not see the complete fourth and fifth photos above, please click on them to open them up. The bases in those photos are as follows; from left to right, Mohair Lace, Alpaca Sport, Extra Fine Merino Wool Aran/Worsted, 100% Fine Organic Merino Wool Fingering and Organic Fine Merino Aran/Worsted Weight.**

Our Seaside Romance, on our Fingering Base, is a shade deeper than the same color, on our Extra Fine Superwash Merino Wool Worsted Weight.  They pair together quite nicely, evoking notes of a warmer pink.  It has very faint shading, throughout the skein.  We think you will enjoy working with this yarn very much!

Merino is a brand of sheep whose wool has especially soft, long and fine fibers.  These fibers are uniquely crimped to hold warmth while still remaining lightweight.  Our Merino Fingering Weight base is uniquely soft to the touch.  It is perfect for everything from shawls and blankets to socks and mittens.  This yarn will produce heirloom quality pieces.

We suggest using a US 1-3 Knitting Needle and a size E Crochet Hook.  (This is only a suggestion, everyone’s tension varies, please use what is the most comfortable for you.)

As with all naturally hand dyed yarns, we recommend hand washing your finished piece, using a PH Balanced Soap such as Mrs. Myer’s Clean Day  Lavender Laundry.
