Betsy Bracelet

15% of all sales from our Betsy Bracelet are going to the Non Profit Organization echeveausolidaire, which helps those families affected by McCune Albright Syndrome, like Gaïa, the daughter of my friend Lili.  McCune Albright Syndrome is a very rare disease that affects the bones, the skin and the endocrine system.  Children with McCune Albright Syndrome often suffer from weakened bones, which may easily breaks. This terrible disease can also  affect the Thyroid System. I have just finished our next gorgeous wrap bracelet, the Betsy Bracelet. This bracelet is made with luxurious 100% Genuine Czech Seed Beads, a Hand Blown Glass Bead by my friend Darlene @pendragonfyre, two Vintage Ivory Glass Beads along with our Sterling Silver logo.  It can be worn as a 6 wrap bracelet, as a necklace or as an anklet. It's 48" of versatility and of loveliness!

We decided to name this the Betsy Bracelet, because we wanted to honor a strong, young woman who first studied as an apprentice upholsterer, under William Webster.  As stories are told, Betsy designed a flag for our new nation, after receiving a visit from General George Washington himself in 1776.  Although this may or may not be historically correct, Mrs. Ross did indeed make flags which were flown by the Pennsylvania Navy.  She is indeed a patriotic role model, and a symbol of women’s contribution during the birth of our nation.  

While I will use the same beads, to replicate this gorgeous piece, they will be in same order, and have the same beads and logo charm, there may be very slight differences within the beads themselves.  We know you will love it your Betsy Bracelet as much as I enjoy making them for you!

(Please note that our wrap bracelets have stretch, however they should not be pulled to the extreme. I recommend that you roll them on to your wrist to ensure they last for many, many years. Please remember that no two stones are alike, you will see variations from bracelet to bracelet, as this happens with all natural gemstones. Their beauty lies within their differences.)
